Q: How did you get started as a beauty content creator?
A: I dived into the world of makeup during my university days and even attained a freelance makeup certificate for my interest. Cliche as it sounds, skincare is everything. After a few freelance gigs, I understood that makeup could only do so much.
I focused even more in skincare in my late 20s after a few bad episodes of atopic dermatitis. From there, I understood what works for my skin and what doesn't. Becoming a smarter consumer, I began to understanf the ingredeints that make up each skincare product. If not for the spare time during the 2 months lockdown in 2020 due to COVID, I may not have embarked on my skincare Instagram account (@icefrostdiary). It has been an insightful 2 years being a beauty content creator and I have made a lot of lovely friends on the platform as well.
Q: What does confidence mean to you?
A: Confidence means you can look someone straight into the eye and say "no" when the situation arises.
Q: What is one out-of the world talent you wish you had and why?
A: I wish I had a talent in persuasion so that I can influence people without much effort.
